Central Shipping
In the Office of Logistics Management(OLM), the shipping unit is
responsible for outbound shipments from the facility via UPS and FedEx.
UPS waybills can be obtained at the OLM West Receiving Dock help desk.
For returns of items contact vendor to report return and obtain a Return
Materials Authorization (RMA) number. Outbound UPS packages must be brought
to the OLM West Receiving Dock help desk before 2:30pm (M-F) to be sure they
are picked up by UPS that day.
All FedEx shipping is done online through the FedEx.com system. To get
access to the system, send an email to
westdock@uchc.edu. OLM will set
you up as a user in the FedEx system and you will receive an email invite to
complete the setup process. Once complete you will have access to the system
and your profile will be linked to the current FedEx account. You can create
outbound shipments as well as return shipments to receive from an outside
source. Due to prior security incidents the account number is no longer
given to any users. For returns of items contact vendor to report return and
obtain an RMA number. Outbound FedEx packages must be brought to the OLM
West Receiving Dock help desk before 2:30pm (M-F) to be sure they are picked
up that day.
An LM-17 Shipping & Return
Authorization Form needs to be completed for each outbound shipment. If the
shipment is a return please include RMA number on the form. Form should be
completed online, printed out, and accompany the package to be returned.
For any other outbound shipping services please contact the OLM West
Receiving Dock help desk. For direct pickup of returned items by vendor,
contact vendor to report return and obtain an RMA number.
