Office of Logistics Management is staffed by Logistics professionals who have extensive medical/clinical product and service knowledge. We have the systems and tools to ensure you get what you need, and when you need it.

We utilize this expertise and the best benchmarking tools and practices in the industry, to ensure successful outcomes  in all our our business processes.  We focus on the the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.  We also work closely with UCH Procurement and Contracting Services to ensure that the Supply Chain decisions are made in the best interest of the University of Connecticut Health Center and in compliance with all federal laws and regulations, all Connecticut state regulations and statutes, and University policies.

Materials Logistics at UCH, embraces inventory control, warehousing, freight, transportation, distribution, and complete supply logistics management standards.  Logistics Management, Inventory Control, Warehousing,  Distribution and Transportation are no longer seen as separate or distinct functions and disciplines.  Today, professionalism of a high standard is required to manage these complex, markedly distinct functions in a seamless and integrated logistics mode with a clear understanding of the need to track the physical goods/services flow, financial flow, and information flow.  Our Materials Logistics Team's focus is efficiency and cost savings, through the best in materials practices.
